Sugar does not make cancer grow faster. All cells, including cancer cells, depend on blood sugar (glucose) for energy. But giving more sugar to cancer cells does not speed their growth.

Myth
Acidic foods increase cancer cell growth.

Fact
Eating acidic or alkaline foods will not alter the PH of your blood or body. The body tightly controls its own PH regardless of diet changes. Cancer cells create an acidic environment due to the way glucose is broken down. This is not affected by foods that we eat.
